What is One Penny Post?
One Penny Post is a website that allows you to create real postcards using your own digital images. We print them on professional printers using quality cardstock and send them off for you to any address in the world. An easy convenience for those travelling or on holiday.
How do I send a postcard?
You can send a postcard without opening an account from the link on the homepage or
click here. If you have an account you can send a postcard by selecting this option once you have logged in.
You can create an account for free via the homepage, and members receive savings on postcard credits as well as a free postcard on sign up.
Where will my postcard be posted from?
We have printing stations in the USA, UK and Australia. Your postcard will be posted from the nearest printing station to the destination address to save on delivery times. This means that your postcard can reach any address in Europe, North America, and Australasia within 3 days.
How much does it cost?
Postcards are £1.50 / €2.00 / US$2.49 / AU$2.99 each. If you have opened an account you can receive discounts. It is free to sign up for an account.
How do I pay?
Payments are made via Pay Pal. This ensures that all of your payment details are secure. Once you have selected the number of card (s) you would like to purchase you will be redirected to pay pal. Once at pay pal, you enter your payment details anf after a successful payment your account will be credited with the number of purchased credits. You will then be redirected to one penny post.
Note: we do not store any of your payment details

Your postcard will be posted within 2 working days.
When can I use this service?
This service is available whenever you need it. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How do I get support?

How do I upload images?
To store images on our website you will have to open an account. Once you have opened an account you will be able to upload photos using our easy upload tool by clicking on the photo upload button at the top of the page.
How do I know if the quality of my image is good enough for printing?
We have a print quality rating for each photo that is uploaded to your account. You will be able to see whether your image is good enough for printing after it has uploaded.
Any photo that is above 200kb will be of the highest quality.
Can I use my own designs or corporate logos instead of a photo?
Yes, you may upload a design or company logo. We accept most image file formats (such as jpg and gif).
Can I use an image that I did not take myself, or that I do not own the rights to?
If you did not take the image yourself or if you do not own the rights to an image you may be in breach of copyright laws.
Do I need to make my pictures smaller first (before uploading them)?
No, our upload tool will reduce your photos so they are small enough to upload quickly, but big enough so that their print quality remains high.
How many photos can I upload? Is there a limit?
At the moment your account will have a capacity of 32 photos. We are constantly working to increase this level and you will see it move rapidly in the future.

How do you print the postcards?
We print the postcards on professional printers using coated cardstock.
What happens to returned postcards?
Postcards with incomplete or unknown addresses will be returned to One Penny Post.
